Inert Corporation Website Privacy Policy

1. Introduction and scope

Inert Corporation (“Inert,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you visit inertcorp.com (the “Site”), request a quote, or otherwise interact with us online.

Effective date: October 7, 2026

Our Site lets you browse products and request quotes. Because our systems and parts are custom and pricing changes, we do not sell products or accept payments directly through the Site. Any purchase that follows a quote is handled separately, outside the Site, under the terms of your quote, invoice, or purchase order.

This policy applies only to information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information collected offline or through third-party websites linked from the Site. By using the Site, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you give us, information collected automatically when you use the Site, and limited information from third parties.

Information you provide

  • Quote requests: name, company name, job title, email address, phone number, shipping or business address, and details about the products, specifications, or quantities you are interested in.
  • Contact forms and inquiries: your name, contact details, and the content of your message.
  • Email sign-ups: your email address and any preferences you choose.
  • Account information: if you create an account on the Site, your login details and the information stored in your account.
  • Chat or AI assistant: if the Site offers a chat feature, the questions and information you type into it.

We do not collect payment card or bank information through the Site.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, general location (city, region, or country), pages viewed, links clicked, time spent on pages, the website that referred you, and products added to a quote request. We collect this through cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, described in Section 4.

Information from third parties

We use a business-identification service that matches visitor IP addresses to company names and publicly available business information. This helps us understand which organizations are interested in our products. We may also receive information from advertising and social media platforms about how you interacted with our ads.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Prepare and send quotes, answer questions, and follow up on your requests.
  • Communicate with you about products, orders, and support.
  • Send marketing emails and newsletters if you have signed up or where otherwise permitted. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site, including measuring traffic and understanding how visitors use it.
  • Show relevant advertising on other websites and platforms and measure how well our ads perform.
  • Identify businesses that may be interested in our products.

  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

4. Cookies and tracking technologies

The Site uses cookies, pixels, tags, and similar technologies, some placed by us and some by third parties. Cookies are small files stored on your device. Pixels and tags are small pieces of code that report your activity to the provider.

We use these technologies for:

  • Essential functions: keeping the Site working, remembering items in a quote request, and security.
  • Analytics: understanding traffic and how visitors use the Site.
  • Advertising: showing our ads on other sites and platforms and measuring their results.

  • Service providers: companies that host the Site, send email, provide analytics, secure the Site, and support our operations. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Advertising and analytics partners: the providers listed in Section 4 receive information through cookies and pixels about your activity on the Site. Under some state laws, this may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, or as “targeted advertising.” You can opt out as described in Section 6.

Changes to this policy: we may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date above. We review this policy at least once a year and whenever we add new tools to the Site.
