PowderShield™ is the culmination of over 40 years of experience in inert engineering and creating perfectly sealed environments for powder handling and user protection.
Developed in partnership with experts in additive manufacturing (AM), our PowderShield depowdering station has been developed to provide operators with the highest level of protection while enhancing the productivity of the additive manufacturing workflow.
PowderShield™ Adjustable Vibration Depowdering table

The PowderShield™ Rotating Table is equipped with an adjustable pneumati vibration feature, designed to efficiently remove excess powder from 3D printed parts. The dual axis rotating and tilting table allows the operator to easily access all sides of the printed part, providing full 360-degree rotation as well as up-and-down movement.
Designed to optimally fit a standard 300 x 300 mm build plate, PowderShield™ can nevertheless accommodate larger plates depending on the geometry of your parts.
This versatile design ensures that even complex or oversized parts can be processed with ease.
PowderShield™: Streamline Your Workflow – Recycle, Reuse, Print Again
PowderShield™ design is equipped with a gravity-fed chute to efficiently collect excess powders. Using an integrated cyclonic filtration system, PowderShield™ captures the excess powder in the filtration unit, allowing it to be easily recycled and reused for future prints.
For more precise powder removal, the system includes a high-flow vacuum hose that lets operators manually direct the suction to specific areas, ensuring accurate removal of excess powder. For difficult-to-reach areas, the gas gun (compatible with either nitrogen or argon) allows users to blast away powder and clean the surface of the printed part effectively.
The recirculation module circulates inert gas to create a unidirectional flow within the enclosure reducing suspended particle, minimizing powder accumulation on the window.
Cyclonic filtration integration with PowderShield™ can be used to handle large quantities of powders or particulate up to several gallons at a time. The design allows additive manufacturers who have higher quantities of residual powders in the post-processing stage to fully depoqder and recycle the media. Can be integrated with vacuums and sieves for other AM solutions.
PowderShield™ Protects operators
When it comes to safety, Inert does not compromise. Powdershield™ prioritizes health and safety by containing potentially harmful powders, reducing the risk of inhalation and exposure.
PowderShield is the only depowdering station equipped with an inflatable gasket and an interlock handle, ensuring the front panel cannot be opened during operation. The inflatable gasket creates a perfect seal between the enclosure and the door, eliminating the risk of powder contamination in your room or laboratory.

The lockable front panel is controlled by a PLC touchscreen that monitors the pressure inside the enclosure. The two-step verification process adds an extra layer of safety, preventing mishandling and ensuring safe operation at all times.
